MacKenzie is currently a senior at the University of Tulsa, where she is pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a degree in Management and a focus on Entrepreneurship. She spent a quarter at Stanford University studying Technology in Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Communications. She has experience working with several Silicon Valley start-ups, as well as two years at an Oklahoma-based non-profit, the Folds of Honor Foundation. In January MacKenzie co founded a digital health company, Owlpal, a mobile app for monitoring nighttime asthma.
